Projects
The Partnership is working with other partners, particularly Northern Rail and Network Rail to achieve the following improvements:

- Refurbishment of booking office and waiting room and installation of public toilets
- Installation of help points
- Installation of new shelter
New Mills Newtown – Car Park improvements

The programme for 2010 to 2011 has yet to be finalised. Among the projects being considered are:
- Major improvements to Buxton Station
- Cycle parking improvements at various stations.
- Platform raising work at Whaley Bridge station.
- Improvement to Chinley station waiting facilities
- A study of the Buxton line with a view to improving line speeds and train frequencies.
- New ticket office and waiting room at Glossop
